Our Decorative Tops display painstakingly laser etched details that showcase the artwork on a black background for contrast. The etching is done on the underside (and mirrored), so it is protected from grubby fingers and scratches and also gives some depth and an embossed effect.

You can add your own personalization by in-filling the laser-etched regions with your favorite acrylic paint for a nice pop of color - we'll show you how!

Peel and Use

You can use the decorative tops without much ado - just peel the protective paper, place the black paper backing at the bottom, and replace your existing top plate with the decorative top plate.

Customize and add your own flair

You can also do some infill painting of the etched portions (acrylic paint works well). When you remove the protective film, you'll be left with colorful etched sections, that will be on the black background provided (so choose your colors accordingly!). This gives a nice colorful contrast and let's you add a splash of color to suit your style!
